Broken

To be broken is OK.
To be broken is ACCEPTABLE.

To be broken leads to a humble heart.

Humility pleases the Lord.

Brokenness leads to humility.

Humility leads to favor.

It’s okay to allow a season of brokenness to change you.

"God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:5b-6 NIV

Your brokenness may keep you from others, but will draw you close to the Lord. He will not push you away in your brokenness.

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:17

In your brokenness, find space, find time to bring every broken piece of your heart to the Lord. Every broken habit. Every broken thought or emotion to Him.

From a position of humility, your Father will hear you and heal you and forgive you and put you back together whole.

“And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.” And Mary said: “My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave; For behold, from this time on all generations will count me blessed. For the Mighty One has done great things for me; And holy is His name. AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM. He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart. He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And has exalted those who were humble. HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS; And sent away the rich empty-handed. He has given help to Israel His servant, In remembrance of His mercy, As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his descendants forever.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:45-55‬ ‭NASB‬‬

May we remain humble before the Lord and before man. May any brokenness within us lead us to Him and to healing.

Christ was broken for us. He suffered for us to come to salvation.

Allow your brokenness to lead you to the cross of Christ. Accept His salvation for you.  He will lift you up in due time.
