Today
TODAY There is just something about the simple word "today". Today comes every day, and yet lasts only one day. Do you know what I love about the start of each new day? God's mercies and compassions are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23) In fact, everyday we get a fresh start, sort of like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, except that our today does have an effect on our tomorrow. We all know it's wise to plan for our future and the changes in our life we wish to see, but the only way to have a better future, is to have a better today. What will I do with my today? The word of God says that "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” (Hebrews 3:7-8) What has God asked you to do with your today? Whatever it is, do not delay. Do it.
